I work at Disney Interactive, now.
I got a job as a game tester at Disney about a week ago. I'm making $9/hr, which isn't great, but i really enjoy the job. plus, it's FUCKING DISNEY!!!!!! and, i'm getting hella overtime. i just finished my first week and already i have 58 hours. but i'm not tired, and they treat their employees very well.
somehow, things are getting better for me lately. maybe being positive really does pay off.
also, i love the world now. (that sounds strange, but somehow it was so natural to type)

i just found out from a guy on Soulseek that they are going to make a NeverHood Movie!!! here's a blog post from someone who is either involved or knows something about it.

well, i just put in my 2 week notice at Sears. i'm really happy i'm out of there, too! i have been getting about 14 hours a week for the past 2 months. i held on so long because 1. i thought the hours would pick up eventually, and 2. i didn't have a better job to go to. but, yesterday, i had a job interview. i'm now working at Universal Studios Hollywood!!!!!! i'm going to be working as a ride operator on the Back to the Future ride!!! i'll get a picture of myself in my uniform when i get one. i'm actually excited about this job, which is strange because i never really have been excited about a job. but, this seems really really fun! i'm making a little less than i was making at sears per hour, but they said theres a possibility that i could get 40 hours a week during april and if i did a great job i could advance to a higher position fairly quickly! i'm excited, to say the least. and OMG i'm glad to be done with Sears.
now, on to the unreasonable wants. i was at the Volkswagen dealership the other day getting my car fixed up when i saw this:
it's a 2007 Limited Edition Fahrenheit GTI. i instantly fell in love! i've never wanted a car so badly in my life! it's so fucking sporty! and, there were only 1,200 made. I WANT THIS CAR SO BADLY! but, i'm scared i won't be able to afford it. i'm going to try, i think. but, i'm going to think about it alot. this isn't something i can really just jump into. but, before you ask about my car now, if i bought this other car, i would sell mine to Rie. i actually don't want to see my car go, and Rie needs a car, so i think it would work out pretty well. but, i'm still thinking about it. man....i want this car.
p.s. Michelle asked if i have been doing any art. well, not much, really. i've only been trying to make some simple animations and working on these. otherwise, i've not been very creative. sorry to disappoint....
also, they're not finished.

we're in L.A. now. but, we don't have internet service yet. i'm currently posting from Roman's, the above average sandwitch joint on Sunset. so, i don't want to say too much now, but when we get the internet, i'll post pictures of the neighborhood and apartment and other things. i'll alsomaybe start a MySpace account. so, check back with me later.

hi, everyone!
we've been driving for 2 days now, and it's not as bad as i thought it would be. we're stopping at night and it's pretty fun seeing things and places i've never seen before. and Rie's here with me to keep me happy and awake. and Pochi is just here, being prickly.
we were going to leave on friday, but it took alot longer to pack than i thought it would so we got to sleep on the floor one last night. then we left at around 6:30 saturday morning. we made it to Oklahoma City before it got dark, which i was a little suprised about. it seems like a cool city, but we were only downtown for about 30 minutes, so it's really hard to tell. her's what it looks like if you drive past it...

then we got to Texas. Texas is BIG!
i really wanted to find route 66 and drie on it for a while, but it's not on the maps anymore so it's very hard to find if you don't know where to look. but, just driving on I-40 is pretty fun for me. i'd easily like to do this again someday. maybe even drive back to Memphis??!!?!
we're in Amarillo, Texas now. staying at the lavishly expensive La Qinta Inn. ($94!!!OMG) but, they had free Wi-Fi so we chose here for tonight. but, sadly, it's sunday night and everything closed about the time we got here. so we got some dinner, and Ice cream and now it's a bit of relax time.
i'm suprised how much i'm going to miss Memphis. i didn't realize just how much until i couldn't stop crying (not weeping, just softly crying) the morning we left. i'm really going to miss the apartment, despite how much i said i hated it and wished i lived somewhere else. and i already deeply miss all of you. i think leaving my friends is going to be the hardest part of all. i regret not spending much time with anybody in the past year, and i wish i could make up for it now. i'm sorry for being the neglectful friend. and i'm sorry for realizing it too late. i love you all! come visit us soon!!!
(p.s. WE SAW WINDMILLS!!!)
